Basic Modules

You begin the game with all basic modules unlocked, and you gain the effect of all of them, no matter what other modules you equip. Their icons are light-blue.
Picture
Shields
Basic beams deal a base of 25 damage, and most special beams deal 35. Each extra drone increases beam damage by 10%. When you're health reaches 1/3rd or lower, your vision will become blurry, and the music will intensify. While in this state, your Reactive Shield module activates to prevent defeat (see below). These visual effects can be changed in the settings menu.
100 +20 per rank
Picture
Shield Restore
When you discharge your endurium, you gain shields equal to this value.
30 +5 per rank
Picture
Targeting Speed
This module controls how fast your endurium wave targeting system follows your head movement.
5 units/sec +1 per rank
Picture
Blade Length
The longer your blades, the more time you have to strike incoming beams. Also increases the width of your endurium waves.
3 meters +0.1 per rank
Picture
Endurium Charge Rate
Each time you destroy a special beam, you gain 30 endurium, multiplied by your Endurium Charge Rate. At 100, your Endurium Wave and Discharge modules become active. Increased use of your blades will reduce the effectiveness of this module, meaning that at higher tiers you will gain less endurium from each special beam, though the faster rate at which the drones fire them will balance this.
1.0 + 0.05 per rank
Picture
Time Dilation
After taking damage, time warps so that you move faster than your surroundings for a brief moment.
Maybe everything else is moving slower, it's hard to tell.
20% boost +18% per rank
Picture
Reactive Shield
When your shields are near failing, the music will turn frantic and you begin to see a film grain as your unit begins to fail. During this time there is a chance for you to resist further damage.
20% +5 per rank
Picture
Damage
Increased the damage of your endurium waves.
80-100 damage +10 per rank.

Endurium Wave Modules

When you're carrying a full endurium charge, holding down either of your triggers will activate an auto targeting system for your endurium wave module. A crosshair will appear in the center of your field of vision and follow your head movements. The speed at which the crosshair follows your vision is affected by your Targeting Module. It's best to look directly at the drone you'd like to damage before activating your targeting system, and adjust your aim from there. Wave module icons are dark blue with white icons.
While holding the trigger, energy is overcharged into your plasma blade. This energy is what flies off when you are swinging the blade and let go of the trigger. However, if your blade makes contact with anything while in this state, the pent up energy will detonate and you will have to release the trigger and try again. While accidently scraping the floor can be a nuisance, you can also deal massive damage to any threats in melee range this way.

Returning Wave
Fires a endurium wave that ricochets off walls and returns to restore your charge at a weaker power if it does not destroy an enemy. This means that if you fail to destroy a drone, you may either try again (but deal less damage) or discharge your endurium to restore your your shields (again, at a reduced rate).
Returns your charge at 50% strength +5% per rank.

Electric Pulse
Your endurium wave instantly shocks any beams that come within range. This destroys basic beams on contact and allows you to attack beam drones even while they are firing, with less risk of taking damage yourself. At max rank it can clear the field of all active beams on its way to its target.
Range 5 meters +1 per rank.

Thrown Blades
Transferring kinetic force from your shields allows you to throw your plasma blades using the same controls as the endurium wave. This allows you to make a ranged attack whether or not you have an endurium charge. Though your blades will not fly far enough to damage a pod, it can be used to destroy nearly any beam type, as well as Sixer. Pressing the trigger while a blade is in the air will recall it.
While your shields are propelling your blades, you will take x2 damage from all sources, -0.09 per rank.
(down to x1.1 damage for each blade not in hand)

Extra Charge
Your shield restore is cut in half, however, firing an endurium wave now only consumes some of your charge. Subsequent uses will be less effective; less shields will be restored if consumed, and endurium waves will deal less damage.
Each endurium wave consumes only 50% of your charge -2.5% per rank.

Blaster
Replaces one of your plasma blades with a blaster pistol which can damage pods while carrying an endurium charge.
While carrying an endurium charge, press the blade ignition button to supercharge the blaster, then pull the trigger to release a large blast of endurium with similar effects to that of an endurium wave.

Fire rate 0.3 -0.02 per rank

Passive Modules

Unlike Discharge Modules, which activate every time you discharge your endurium, Passive Modules will activate on their own, typically by piggy backing onto other module activations or under specific conditions without additional input from the user.

Endurium Barrier
Holding the left trigger will turn your blade into a shield that slowly drains your endurium charge but protects you from all attacks.
This drain does not occur when fully charged, and using the shield against special beams breaks the shield rather than causing drain.

Adaptive Defenses
Each time you discharge your endurium, some power is diverted from your wave module into your shield power. This means that the more you activate your shield restore, the less you will need to, as your damage resistance gets higher and higher with each use. Launching an endurium wave will bring the power levels back by one step.  Each rank reduces the drain to your weapon systems.
Damage resistance +15% per use, stacking up to 60%.
Reduction to your Damage module 15 per use, -0.5 per rank, stacking up to 60 -(2 per rank)
